The subject of smoking comes up in many topical debates on health and well-being around the world, with more bans on where you can smoke and where you are prohibited from smoking.

Russia recently suggested in parliament to stop the sale of tobacco products to anyone born in or after 2014.

Looking at the complex laws of individual states in the USA, it shows that everywhere is very different.

Have you got anything you wish to discuss on this subject?

Perhaps you feel that Smoking should not be allowed anywhere in public places or Smoking should be a personal choice and of no consequence to anyone else.

My husband smoked for years and stopped about 10 years ago. When I go into other people's houses you can smell they are smokers and realised our house must have been like that.

Trying to get into buildings with them all smoking outside the door because they are too lazy to walk a few feet to where they have somewhere to shelter. They'd rather stand at the door in the rain.

It's the choice of the person, just don't stand in my way blowing out smoke when I'm trying to get inside and then don't tut when I ask them not to do that.

I have been a smoker on and off for years gave up for a long time then unfortunately went back to it and yes Daisy when I gave up I realised how much your clothes etc smell we do not allow smoking inside the home as we have granchildren but I have every intention of stopping again as I did feel so much better for it.
