I have often wondered who people would invite for dinner it can be anyone you like :)

Think 5 is a good number if you want more then go for it lol

I would have

Stephen Fry = actor and presenter have always found him interesting.

Kathy Burke = actor and comedienne very down to earth.

Agatha Christie = I read a lot love murder mystery books and I am always impressed at her books for when they were written.

Sue Townsend = another author her books about Adrian Mole still make me laugh today.

Rafael Nadal = I love the tennis.

Robert Downey Jr - who doesn't love iron man :)

Ralph Fiennes - Just gorgeous

Jim Parsons - Sheldon from the big bang theory

Gene Kelly - I would have loved for him to teach me to dance

Marilyn Monroe - she wasn't a dumb blond..she was intelligent and would have loved to talk to her

My mum and dad - both died when I was a teenager..never got to ask them anything about their teenage years

My husband's mum - died when he was a teenager...I would have looked after her

Jeff Buckley - great singer..my favourite song is "Grace" drowned at age 30..no drugs or drink in his system..just a crazy idea to go swimming in his clothes

Adam Ant - crazy crazy man but his music was there when I was young

Gary Numan - Wanted to marry him when I was young, sadly never happened..watching him coming on in the video at the start of Cars is enough to make me want to marry him..has a great goosebump feeling

Now I agree with so many especially Jim Parsons I am a huge Big Bang fan absolutely love it :)

And Adam Ant and Gary Numan what's there not to like there was so many people I wanted to list it would have turned into a massive dinner party would have had to hire somewhere lol

I am a great lover of 70's music especially the dance/disco oh to have youth back on my side :)

I'd like to invite William Shakespeare, if you could chose anybody living or dead. You'd be waiting for him to arrive thinking I wonder what he really does look like, then you'd be going 'hey mate, can you just sign this?' lol. (Then trying to explain to a sceptical media how a fourth surviving signature had magically appeared). I imagine he'd be pretty small. Have you seen the height of some of those original doorways down in Stratford? Imagine his amazement when you show him himself on our banknotes. For somebody who died only having written for theatre rather than publication I think he would be pretty amazed.

Alternatively let's just borrow Dr Who's Tardis for a day! What fun we could have!  :super-happy-dance-smiley-emotic

Drumlanrig castle is just down the road from us and Neil Armstrong was a guest there years ago. I remember doing a tour with them telling this and that and we went into the bonnie prince charlie bedroom (charlie was a small man) with a small fourpost bed and the tour person said all about it and that Neil Armstrong spent the night in this room. I'm 5 foot and I'd just fit in this bed. Neil Armstrong must have had his feet off the edge or he gave in and slept on the floor. There's no way that tall man slept in that bed.

Let's get the Tardis and think of all ther magical places we could go

Emily Bronte was another very small person, when you look at one of Emily's original dresses displayed in the house/museum at Haworth you think she could not have stood more than five feet, and maybe a couple of inches less than that.

People are getting bigger, I'm sure of it. I'm 5ft 9 and a half inches tall and at school I felt pretty much of average height, but these days I feel like most young men are bigger than me!

So yeh if we could tardis-travel back to Elizabethan times you would probably have been considered quite tall then, Tracey, and I would be freakishly tall lol.

The trouble with tardis-travel is that rule that you can't change history. You would so want to meddle...

I would meddle. I would meddle big time. Knowing all you know, and not just the bad things, saying to somebody that did good how it could be that wee bit better if they did this.

I would like to invite my favourite actor to dinner. I think he is handsome and I'm sure he would be charming and fun to talk to. Jeffery Dean Morgan has played in; Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife, et all, and is currently on the Walking Dead.
